I think they wanted cancellation. All those actors, and their raises. Never mind the lighting, stage crews, etc. Too expensive! What? Make millions of dollars by doing more seasons that show quality. given thier propensity for rewriting thier own canon at the drop of a hat, i don't consider revisionist history to be a far fetched idea.

if they want a chosen character to suddenly speak an alien language to further their plot, the chosen charcter will develop said skill at the stroke of a pen

Nice to see this is an anti stereotype thread as well as an anti season 10 one .

Basically - season 10 should of been written better or just written by the same people who did seasons 1 - 8

which is one reason it's so puzzling to see a show that used to have such a wide appeal fade into one that has diminishing appeal/ratings
