Here's a challenging question: What are some things you think the show did well in Season 10?

• Puppet SGC in 200 (particularly Jack and Hammond)
• Janet in Ripple Effect
• Multiple Sam's in Ripple Effect
• Line in the Sand/The Road Not Taken
• Jack and Daniel in the Shroud
• The blue shirt Vala wore in Memento Mori
• Sam playing the cello in Unending
• Um. It ended.

2) Cam toned down slightly. He didn't bug me (much) in Line in the Sand. (except for the inevitable grandma story)

I thought Tomin was a well-developed character, and I really liked the moderating influence he had on Vala. If only Daniel and Vala's relationship were as well thought out as Tomin and Vala's was.

I thought Vala was not doing her herself any favors when she told Tomin he had no future with her. Her feelings for him seemed genuine and they both seemed to be on even footing. But what do you expect from someone with Narcissistic personality disorder?

Pretty much what she said. And my favorite line is from "Uninvited" when everyone is hunting through the woods at the cabin for the creature, and Reynolds says to Vala "Excuse me, amateurs coming through!", after her less than tactful comment about amateurs.

Wasn't the bug ep S9? I seem to remember that being one of 2 eps I could have actually enjoyed rewatching.

After perusing my master list of episodes (the booklet that came with the 10 season set of discs), I find that "The Scourge" was Episode 17 of Season 9 (just before "Arthur's Mantle", which is another of my "guilty" pleasures from S9/10). Therefore, you are correct in your assumption.

Hmmm. That makes 1 less thing I like about S10 then, and one thing that I like about S9.

<<smirk>> Monty Python and Spaceballs are *so* easy to use as references for S9/S10. Though they tend get the better end, mostly because they were meant to be satire, Stargate Command was just an accident.
