S10: nostalgia, new viewers & the progression of SG1

We are discussing one of those secrets in the pro season 9 thread.
I commented on just how well Mitchell and Carter know each other. It is clear they do know each other outside of the SG1, but just how long have they known each other. Not well enough for her to have known his callsign, but well enough to know they are friends.
