Wow, with that many milestones today I'm sure I missed someone, so congrats to any I may have missed!


I love the idea of a Grace kiss DVD, but I don't think I'd ever get anything done around her if I had a copy. Wow, I wonder how many takes that kiss took! HOT!

Oooh Cairns huh? Don't think I'll ever get that far north...I don't like the tropical weather up there...but hey...I've heard it gets...really hot and sticky up there....someones gotta love that...just..not me!!!
You'll find it's gonna be pretty weird trying to chat to most of the shippers coz they're off to bed when we get up...but there's always a few that stay up really really late...and there's always the other aussies..and maybe a kiwi or two!!

I've been to Cairns. Please tell me the correct way to pronounce it? Heard it several ways. (And don't remember how they said it there--Carns?)). Did my first and only snorkeling there, set up in a tame way for us tourists.

i 'think' it'll be good for ship. why i feel this is because the ptb will want (maybe have to) write the most popular of storylines, if they want the fans to buy the dvd(s). sam/jack ship is very popular, so.... + = $$$$$



to ptb - if you're reading this: you show ship between sam and jack, we'll buy the dvd movie. (if you make a separate disk with just the many takes of the 'grace' kiss... you'll make a LOT of $. )

I have a feeling BB and CB will be doing something else on the Scifi channel by the time they start filming the movies. Just a hunch but I have heard rumors of a new Farscape series. (Sorry, just heard it on the board no link.) I personally hope the rumors are true. I like Farscape, and I think it would guarantee our ship in the movies.

At least, I hope that's what happens.

I see someone mentioned "Liberating Males." Sigh. I wish the writer would finish it. She said was going to, but it's been awhile. And speaking of that situation, I know there's RL and writer's bloc and so forth but some writers do have quite a few WIP, some of which are never finished. I'm not a writer, but if I were, I wouldn't want to be juggling several WIP at one time. (But then I'm not one so I can really know what it's like). I was reading series from last night from 2 years ago, never finished & probably won't because it was the last one on her site.

Query: has FF.net changed? Seems like it never used to have very "adult" stuff but lately I've seem some on there.

I know how you feel. I was reading a Sam and Jack fic the other day when I got to the end and realised it wasn't finished and hadn't been updated for months so was unlikely to ever be finished

I have to admit I have several WIP but I won't post something unless it's finished because I know how annoying it is for a reader and because, as a writer, I know if I do get writer's block or RL gets in the way, I don't want to disappoint people by not updating.

The rules haven't changed for fanfiction.net. The highest rating doesn't allow for really adult material (the PWP category of the Stargate Fan Awards for example) but it does allow for adult content so you can have more explicit 'love' scenes if you wish in the way of a 'romance novel'. I guess there's been one or two more authors willing to go down this route lately. If its out and out porn, it breaks the rules.

I think most of us think that because:
(a) he was in the room with them during the confessions in D&C
(b) he comforted Sam during Paradise Lost when Jack was missing
(c) he comforted Jack during Grace when Sam was missing
EDIT: and
(d) he was with them during the interlude in Victories when they're waiting for the 2nd gate
(e) he's sat with them when a dying Sam rests her head on Jack's shoulder in Metamorphosis
(f) he's with them when Jack comforts Sam with a hug at the end of Death Knell

Rocketgal (I think it was Rocketgal apologies if it wasn't) posted a pic once where Sam and Jack were looking over a cliff edge and a glider had written in the sky 'O'Neill loves Carter' and most of the captions for that pic were something like:
'Teal'c had fun testing the new F302'
'O'Neill made a mental note to explain the expression 'leaving it in the room' to Teal'c.'

Well, you get the picture...or rather you would if I could find and post the original Can you send me alink for the pic? Cool!

I've been back through the thread and the picture was posted on page 1838 but its not showing anymore

Maybe if Rocketgal is around (it was her - yay for my memory), she can repost it or if anyone 'snurched' it, they can post it instead.

Tomorrow (well it's already tomorrow for you) read the reverse story when Sam dates Jack's brother-talk about ANGST!

OMG, even more angst? Don't know if I can take that But he, as long as there's a happy ending I can give it a try. So, that will be long night, since today we're going to a amusementpark.

That's just it...I can't catch up on everything so if I have missed anything of significance...please tell me!!!
I don't have that much time...lifes still pretty hectic but not as bad as before...had my first day back at work...and low and behold...they finally realised why it was that I was finishing so late...so they had to tell the nursing staff to back off with the laundry load or they'll be doing it...wonder where that's gonna leave me?? Hmmm...didn't think of that one...D'oh...not too worry...I finished early today so it must be working...YAY!!
