Oh, rub it in, guys! RL is NYC's transit strike and a cold snap and really long walks across town, downtown, uptown and inbetween, getting squashed in the commuter trains! Oh, did I say that out loud?

Just playin', Just sayin', glad someone's out there posting for Sam/Jack ship. I'll join when I'm not so darned tired!

But gettin' happy again: Two co-workers gave me SEASON 8 boxed set for Christmas! SQUEEEEEEE! They heard me way across the office, thought I'd hit lotto! It felt like it!

You know TPTB are being so vague about where Jack is, I think they don't want to give him a title because they want the regs to still be an issue, if that makes any sense. What I don't understand is if RDA was leaving, and they had so much confidence in their "new" show, why not have brought Jack and Sam together without any questions about it? Come on I don't think having them brought together in one episode would hurt any fan base and then they could continue with the "new" Stargate. They are honestly just going out of their way not to bring them together on screen, that is the part that really hurts. Jack gone with absolutely no mention of him, Sam going to be tossed back and forth between the two shows, from "Always" to "Not Exactly" all coming after Threads....it makes absolutely no sense. Did they really think that all we wanted was to find out that Jack and Sam do really care about one another? Heck we all pulled out our Jack and Sam decoder rings and figured that out long ago. Like I have said before Threads only brought us back from where we should never have gone, it never moved us ahead, so what did we gain... oh yeah from "I care about her, alot more than I'm supposed to" to "Always"....yeah, yeah I see the gain...not. That's progression?..thats like standing still...but with 4 years in between.

How have I never read any of this before? I've been so pre-occupied in my Shep/Weir world that I've been neglecting Sam and Jack! Bad me!!
