I'am with you Sally.I think it's great that some Shippers can be positive.I wish I could.I hope this Thread is still a place where Shippers can vent and there is no pressure to be just positive regarding the Ship.I think we will see RDA again on the Show, it's just such a long wait even if he is in a couple of Season 10 episodes.I hate to say this but it would not shock me to see TPTB bring in another Boyfriend for Sam.I would be shocked if Sam gets engaged again but I would not be shocked if it was a one or two episode arc.TPTB do not seem to be concerned about upsetting Shippers otherwise we would have had more references to Jack and would have seen some of the Sam and Jack Ship from Sam's side.I also fear there could be pressure from TPTB at Scifi to pair off Sam with someone.I really hope we do not find out Sam and Mitchell were an idea.That would also not shock me.TPTB not knowing how to write for Sam worries me because TPTB may fall back into there Sam and guest Star of the Week pattern.I will try to be more positive and it's great to be posting again on the thread.

K' so I broke down and despite the little voice in my head telling me I'd only be disapointed I bought the Season 8 DVD's and started listening to the commentaries. It bugs me to absolutely no end that there is no commentary for Threads but it's like those doing the commentaries for the other episodes take a class in evasiveness and completely glossing over the Sam/Jack stuff. Sigh. This combined with Joe's non-answers in his thread are starting to give me that completely fed up feeling that I got when Moebius first aired. No matter what Joe says there's just no valid reason for not giving some kind of answer to they "are they or aren't they?" question hanging in the air. How much does a one sided phone call showing only Sam cost anyway FCOL?!

(P.S. watching the DVD's is making me miss Jack even more. I don't hate Mitchell or anything, and Ben is mighty fine to look at, but there's a certain something missing. Snark being one of them. Gads I love snark. And I miss my arm porn. I need to find that pic of Jack with the gun in the hallway of the SGC from Reckoning so I can get my fix)

From time to time I have felt worried, frustrated and upset about the lack of Ship and I felt comfortable to come here to express those feelings. I have felt supported. That means alot to me.

in Season 9 not to mention Season 10. Oy, don't mention it!! But, I am ever hopeful that we will get Ship in the future. So, while I wait for The Ship, I come here to play about our Ship memories and The Ship future we hope for.

I truly believe that they will not commit the biggest of all bungles or my name's not nell!!! **ahem, my name's not really nell**forget that** Or, I'm crazy!! **could be**ah, never mind** Well, I believe TPTB will not give Sam a love interest!! Not possible!! Makes no sense!!

I think JM is having a hard Time trying to defend the lack of Sam/Jack Ship.JM is having to cover for the TPTB at Scifi and the rest of the Bridge TPTB.Your right there's no excuse for TPTB to not Show a one sided Phone call.Many Shippers are feeling fustrated because we feel our concerns are just being brushed aside and were made to feel guilty for even asking a Shipper question.Whether TPTB care or not by not mentioning Jack or the Sam/Jack Ship it makes it look like TPTB are upset with RDA for leaving.RDA deserves better than that and many Shippers have been with the Show from the start and bought the DVD's deserve better.TPTB have gone out of there way to Alienate Jack Fans and Sam/Jack Shippers and that's two of the biggest Fan bases.I still get a big headache when I think about the waste that was Moebius.I really hope that episode did not scare of RDA for good.Moebius and New Order still leave a bad taste in my mouth.Talk about missed opportunity.

Personally, I won't be around to *see* a series finale. I just don't have the heart to watch this tragedy that is SG for seasons on end, hoping against hope that they'll finally give us something. If they do finally give us something, I can always catch it in repeats.

I understand, too. I've stopped watching other shows when the ship was suffering from the writers' prolonging the resolution. But, I haven't reached that point yet with Stargate. Maybe because I also enjoy Sam's role in the show. As always, you can rely on us to keep you posted when there are Shippy bones or, better yet, Shippy scenes!!!

Hi everyone!

Finished reading both of Sally Malcolm's books, and I have to say I love the subtle shippiness in them.

Starting to read "City of the Gods" by Sonny Whitelaw, only on the first couple of pages, and there's already ship! I'm loving it!

Does anyone know if Sonny wrote fanfic prior to getting published?
