Because until it is proven that we are the only sentient life in the universe, which in my opinion would be an awful waste of space, I will continue to believe that the Asgard are looking out for us, waiting for us to find the Stargate in Antartica and Vala Mal Doran is relieving someone of their bothersome treasure until she finds her Daniel Jackson.

... I have a ficlet, DV, hopefully humour, set in early season ten, and I'm not sure it's funny or IC, so I'm appealing for a beta/sounding board. It's really short, more a vignette. Anyone interested?

Ooh, that kinda sounds familiar, 'awful waste of space' is that from Contact with Jodi Foster, I love that movie!!

I could send it to you, too, you know. I'm beginning to love this having things beta'd business, it makes me feel loads better about a fic and stops me posting stuff hot off the press (i.e. error riddled, in my case).

Beta'in and betas are really such a gift, because without them loads of my stuff would be chock full of very weird run on sentances and craziness...

...okay...I've braided my entire head on my own...I've printed many random notes without reading them...and sat staring at the wall for 20 minutes until the premiere of NCIS came on...now it's on and I still have three chapters to read *sobs*
