Sam Carter /Jack O'Neill Ship Appreciation Thread 2.0
i'm making myself try to remember all the sam-pete scenes (help), and the only two i can remember where someone other than sam even spoke or acknowledged pete were the hotdog vendor (in affinity) and sam's dad (in threads), and even then, both of those characters could have been a part of sam's pete-imagination!
The guys undoubtedly "saw" Pete sprawled on the ground after being injured at the stakeout.

Plus others. There are a total of 45 actors, 1 director and 1 make-up artist who have worked on both SG-1 and NCIS.
David Dayan Fisher played CIA Agent Trent Cort on NCIS, and he was on an episode of SGA.
Connor Treneer - played Michael on SGA, bad guy on NCIS.
Christina Cox
Aw, that's got to suck. We're having Spring weather here already, lots of sun and new temperature records for this time of year have already been broken. Unfortunately the sudden change from winter weather to this is probably responsible for my current cold and headache...
Unmade Plans (WIP: 11/20): Sam's life takes a turn in an unexpected direction when she's faced with an unplanned pregnancy. The decision to keep the baby and raise it on her own will alter her life forever. Relationships are put to the test, especially the one between her and Jack. She doesn't know what to expect from him and he surprises her at every turn.
On FFnet or AO3
My S/J fics can be found on FFnet and AO3. I also tweet and tumble about the ship and my writing/stories.

Not too sure. Maybe you could ask in the Mods thread.
yeah in lieu of it being the 2010 page i decided to post the original scripted cabin scene from "2010"
Spoiler:
EXT—O'NEILL'S CABIN – DAY
[Carter walks up to the door of a small simple cabin in the woods, and knocks on the door. No Answer. She decides to walk around the side, and sees O'Neill walking up from the water, carrying a fishing rod. He looks very laid back.]
CARTER
Hi.
O'NEILL
Hi.
CARTER
So this is the place you kept threatening to take me. It's good to see you, Sir.
[O'Neill almost winces at that.]
O'NEILL
I'm retired. Drop the "sir."
CARTER
Right.
CARTER
Jack.
O'NEILL
So Is it Colonel Carter now, or Mrs. Ambassador?
CARTER
Sam.
O'NEILL
Okay. Now that we know what to call each other, what the hell are you doing here?
CARTER
It turns out we've made a mistake. A big one.
O'NEILL
Which one was that? We made a few...
CARTER
Our alliance with the Aschen.
O'NEILL
Not working out, eh? Sure wish I'd seen that coming. Oh, wait…
(beat)
I did see it coming
CARTER
It isn't what you thought.
[O'Neill's temper flares a little as he tosses his fishing gear onto a pile alongside the cabin.]
O'NEILL
Yes it is. You just don't see it. You think we run things around here? We're second class citizens in our own damn country!
CARTER
It's worse
(beat)
They're wiping out the human race.
(off his look)
A couple of days ago I found out I can't ever have children.
O'NEILL
I'm sorry to hear that.
CARTER
So was I.
O'NEILL
How does that add up to...?
CARTER
According to the Aschen doctors, I was fine. But not according to Doctor Fraiser. She and I got into the Aschen computer network; they keep statistics on everything. In the past couple of years, without our even knowing it, they have managed to sterilize over ninety percent of the world's population. The other ten percent are probably just a matter of time.
(beat)
We don't know how they've done it, or even how they've even managed to keep it a secret this long…
O'NEILL
What d'you want me to do about it?
CARTER
Help us.
O'NEILL
Do what?
CARTER
We can undo this...
O'NEILL
Here we go...
CARTER
Send a message back through the Stargate to ourselves, ten years ago. Stop this from ever happening.
O'NEILL
Stop this from happening?
CARTER
We know it's possible...
O'NEILL
It's insane, Carter! You can't...
(then, rhetorically)
Why am I having this conversation?
CARTER
We know what we have to do. I am almost positive that with the Aschen computer and solar observatory I can predict a flare a few hours before its happens, and we should be able to get our hands on a GDO. It’ll come down to accessing the Gate within that window, dialing the right address, and sending the message.
O'NEILL
Oh well, hey! If it just comes down to that...
CARTER
If I thought it was easy, I wouldn't be standing here asking for your help.
O'NEILL
Just out of curiosity, say we do this. What happens to everything that's happened the past ten years?
CARTER
It won't happen.
O'NEILL
So we don't go to P4C-970. We don't meet the Aschen, then…what? Everything around us goes wiggle wiggle and Carter's reset the clock back to happytime?
CARTER
I don't know.
O'NEILL
Well let me tell you something, you want to erase your mistakes? That's your own head trip. I warned everybody, I held up the red flag and everybody—including you I might add —shut me down.
CARTER
I'm asking you to put that behind us.
O'NEILL
You're not happy with the way things turned out…I'm sorry to hear that.
[O'Neill gets on to his porch and walks toward his door]
O'NEILL
Personally, I like things the way they are. No more saving the world, a nice pond with no pesky fish, and the single most pressing issue in my life is whether or not I should get a dog…
(beat)
There're a lot of pros and cons to consider...
CARTER
Jack....
O'NEILL
And of course, once you decide on a dog you can't change your mind without sending a message to yourself through time...
CARTER
We're doing this.
O'NEILL
Tell you what - Let me know how it turns out.
CARTER
Our chances are a lot better with you than without you.
[O'Neill just stares for a long beat. Then-]
O'NEILL
Let me ask you something. What does your dearly beloved ambassador think about all this?
CARTER
I haven't had a chance to tell him.
O'NEILL
Don't trust him, huh?
(off her look)
Maybe he can help you.
[And O'Neill goes into the cabin. Carter stands there on the lawn for a beat, as if waiting for him to change his mind, then she goes.]

Oooh, the angst! Does anyone know why they changed the script to what we see in the episode? I think I like the original better, more angst and to me it implies something personal happened (or perhaps they didn't happen because of their fallout) and that Jack is still angry with Sam over it.
