Yeah, tbh, Stark *is* Jack O'Neill with Sam Carter's brain lol! Also RDA/RDJ? Not a coincidence Sam would be the hardest to re-cast. They totally got lucky with AT, she's one-of-a-kind!

Sarah Carter, who at the moment is on "Falling Skies", as one of the main characters.

Julie Benz, who is now on "Defiance", as one of the main characters.

i LOVE amanda and rick, but i also know that if anything stargate came up in the future, one or both might not want to be in it. and i'm also tired of actors not liking ship (like my michael weatherly comment), so...

but it's hard and depressing to think of another 'sam' and 'jack'.

And as far as I am concerned about Sam...could we ask Asgards to make a younger clone of Meg Ryan? Or Katherine Heigl with contacts and short hair.

Hugh Jackman? I mean, he's easy on the eyes... but maybe it's too many Wolverine parts - I have a hard time seeing him as Jack O'Neill. I even have trouble seeing Kurt Russell in the movie. I'm still gunning for Anna Torv for Sam.

Jon Hamm maybe? I've seen him do serious and comedy. I think he could pull it off!

We are just funning around here. Everybody knows, that Sam and Jack will always be RDA and AT - and if anything our conversation makes clear how hard it would be to recast the roles, because people have so many different opinions.
