Lol glad I'm not the only one thinking it. Although I suspect Sam beat us all to that idea even if she'd never admit it in a million years!

Yep, I was 12/13 ish and most of my friends liked Ryan Phillippe and Ryan from the OC, (well, I wouldn't say no to Ryan Phillippe in Cruel Intentions) I got mocked by my friends for liking an "old guy".

Sadly, I think Sam does want him ... Just kidding, I'd be the first one waving that shippy flag lol!

Just had Shades of Grey on, spotted this shippy line.
When Jack is acting oddly (because he's trying to get the rogue NID peeps to snap him up for their ops) he says to Sam 'I haven't been acting like myself since I met you' - you can read so much into that.

Like being on his best behaviour to set a good example at first and then he gradually starts pushing boundaries and the rules with Hammond and any Alien authority he ever encounters. Until he's blatantly flouting them and mocking Ba'al to his face. I think he behaves more appropriately when Sam's around, might be imagining it though.

Yep, it's an odd thing to say and I honestly think that he used those words because he wasn't then lying to her, he just didnt mean it the way it sounded. They always say if you're gonna lie, start with the truth so you can remember it better. I think it was his way of pushing her away whilst hoping that once they found out she'd realise what he meant after all.

Also, if you think about it, it's kind of a compliment. In that his pre-Sam self was an @ss and she made him the nice guy he became.
