I do without a doubt. I don't expect Broca Divide HOT AND WILD but something like the Grace kiss would be HOT at any age.

Just watching ITLOD on sky, loving the old school ship! Way before confessions and holding back. Jack is so unguarded in these earlier episodes his face is so expressive!

Edit: seriously, the whole "No! jack! please, don't leave me like this!" was definitely Jolinar playing Jack. If it had been Sam, she would've called him Sir like she always does. I wonder if that was some subtle sabotage by Sam, making Jolinar call him Jack when she realised what she was about to do? Still, low blow! Right to the gut, you could see it all over his face. You can see the moment he realises, he gets this look as soon as she calls him Jack. It's really subtle but definitely there. I don't know what hurts him more, the fact that he's about to walk out on Carter or the fact that he realises that the Goa'uld knows that by calling him Jack he's more likely to react.

I see it differently. I believe Jolinar did the switch to Sam because she thought Sam would have the power to convince Jack. And it almost works too. Jack hesitates at the door and struggles with taking a chance and believing her. But he doesn't give in and we see Jolinar come back, frustrated because she knows that was her and Carter's only way out alive.

The biggest reason I think this is because of what Sam says just before, "Oh God, he's telling you the truth!" That statement was Sam's shock that the goa'uld had stopped controlling her and apparently showed her something that would have her understand she was not Goa'uld.

Another reason is if it had been Jolinar, Sam's Oh God statement wouldn't even be needed. Simply changing the voice back to "human" would be enough.

I respectfully disagree. I'm with Amber on this one.

I had always believed it to be Jolinar calling out to Jack, trying to play him. There were a few months in there were I was less certain, because I read/saw somewhere that AT believed it was really Sam... but I don't think Sam would've called him "Jack" at that point.

And I'm posting this before fully catching up on the thread, so someone else might have said all this already... But there's my two cents.

Edit: On second thought, I might accept the theory that Sam deliberately used "Jack" instead of her normal "sir" for the express purpose of prompting Jack to not trust her. Think about it: If Jack and Hammond trust Sam even once while her voice is normal, then Jolinar has the upper hand, and any time she needs to get her way, she'll just affect Carter's personality and play some masquerade.

Sam, if she's smart, probably wouldn't trust Jolinar an ounce while the thing is in her head, and realizes that letting the team trust her (and Jolinar by extension) would put the base in jeopardy. Being the Air Force officer she is, I would buy the idea of Sam sacrificing herself to make sure the rest remained safe and secure.
