Does the writing get any better and a bit more... mature, perhaps? I noticed the A/N that said the fic was written over 4.5 years so it's possible this is the beginning and it'll get better with every chapter but I'm not willing to test that theory right now.Unmade Plans (WIP: 11/20):
Sam's life takes a turn in an unexpected direction when she's faced with an unplanned pregnancy. The decision to keep the baby and raise it on her own will alter her life forever. Relationships are put to the test, especially the one between her and Jack. She doesn't know what to expect from him and he surprises her at every turn.

My S/J fics can be found on FFnet and AO3. I also tweet and tumble about the ship and my writing/stories.

I found the first chapter of Beyond the Night to be very cliche but also vaguely familiar (perhaps I've read it already a long time ago) and didn't read any further because I was already kinda bored reading through the prologue and doubt I could sit through another 79 chapters...

Just to clarify: I was referring to the consequences and the aftermath, not the details of the actual rape and/or violence. I've read fics where such trauma has only been mentioned (no details or anything) but that handled the rest very well.
Anyway, I'll keep it in the back of my mind for possible future reading, when I can find the patience to read through it and can afford the time needed as well. Right now I'm more inclined to focus on my own writing and tend to read only short fics.Unmade Plans (WIP: 11/20):

I really need to get back to my own writing. I haven't been reading or writing much fic lately. But I'm leaving for the Vancouver Stargate convention in less than a week *does excited little happy dance* and I have so much to do!
Maybe when I get back I will have the time and inspiration to complete some of my WIPs. (No Sara, I haven't forgotten them. I'm just disorganized. )sigpic

Like I said, I believe the fic was well written and the character's actions and reactions were believeable, it's just not the kind of thing I care to read about or dwell on.

What's AT been up to recently? Still no renewal of Sanctuary.
