I know...and fishing is very important!
It's just in a way so obvious how much they care about each other...a blind man can see it.

Like here, when he insists on being the one taken:

Then he's worried about her the whole time she's gone:

He takes hold of her and watches over her when she get's back:

Then he tries to offer his life for her's and is upset when the natives kill Nirtti because "She was Carter's only chance."

But then when the guy tells Jack he can help her Jack runs back for her and carries her to the machine:

And after she's better, they can't stop looking at each other:

            Such a nice shippy episode.

Smokin' hot....as a PG fill in...

Because, to be corny, Jack is Sam's hook, line and sinker...

                    To be guttery....the same line.

                    And we're reeling....in....

                    Errr...

Maybe you guys can help me -- I'm looking for a J/S fic I read a while back, and I can't remember where I saw it or who the author was. It was set between the first movie and Children of the Gods, in which Jack meets Sam in a bar in Colorado Springs and they get "very friendly", only they never tell each other their names. Sara has just left him and she's just broken up with Jonas. And then the last scene is in Children of the Gods, when Jack realizes that Carter is OMG the woman he met before....

Anybody got any idea what this was or where to find it again? It was really good.

                        Thanks loads!

Ah, "Metamorphosis" is one of my all-time favorite episodes. (Though I really wish that we had seen that moment at the end when Jack carries her to the machine 'Cause that would just be so cute! )

I don't recall if this has already been recommended recently, but I just read it and enjoyed it and thought others might, too.
