Agreed - unless she was moving her entire family, which seems to be firmly rooted in Vangroovy (I love that name!) at this point, she probably wouldn't.

That's why I'm hoping out for a guest stint. Ben Bowder's guest turn was rather well done, I thought and Amanda with her goofy side would fit into the show nicely.

Or she could end up playing another baddie. Seems to be her thing lately

Actually, I can see her as the foil for River Song - both are such strong female characters. If River ever got a spinoff, I'd want Amanda to be a recurring villan

I can also see Amanada being a companion of the Donna-type.

As for a female doctor - something I'd love to see, but don't think will happen. Even if it did, I think the part would go to a British Actress first.

But kidding aside, I meant a British Actress currently working and making the rounds in Brittain. Actually, if Alex Kingston wasn't already River, I'd've guessed that she'd be the first female doctor. Or Helen Mirin. That would be awesome.

Now back on topic: The Leos are on today! Amanda is presenting!!! I want to see pictures!

Last year I had the time and was even doing something else in the same buildling as the Leos but they had the red carpet closed off This year they're doing the red carpet outside and I can't go!!! It figures.

Hope she and Michael are catching up ....would have been nice if she had presented him with his LEO win tonight but I don't think she did...
