Actually Helen's hair is more brown than black. The dark lighting (and overall dark mood of the show) made it look black.

It's dark brown, but it is definitely brown.

THANK YOU! As some one with really dark brown hair...it's annoying to have someone call you with 'Hey you with the black hair'. Some people just don't realize that lighting of any kind can and does play tricks on our eyes.

Going on "auto-pilot" is a danger. I think the limited way Sam was used in S9 & 10 would make that a danger for her. But I don't think she did go on auto-pilot. I always felt she was "there" for her scenes.

How's this for a dream? Definitely in the too much time on GW category. I dreamed that Sanctuary was airing and I was saying: "this is way better than I expected with SciFi involved. They've actually developed Magnus and Druitt more!"
