I like that Sam Carter continues to be a part of the Stargate universe. I worry how she will be written, of course, but just seeing Amanda onscreen gives me such a lift that I'm willing to suspend judgment and go along for the ride! No other TV female character has ever captured my imagination and admiration as much as Sam Carter (when she's at the top of her game) ... except Emma Peel, but many of you weren't even born when the original Avengers was on in the late '60s.
