I also posted this thought on the Sam and Jack thread. About the whole "her own ship" mention and the human replicator storyline that will be a big part of SGA in season 4...what if, AT is coming onboard SGA as Replicarter rather than as Colonel Sam Carter? Oh, puhleez! The only "ship" she has is obviously with Thor. (I kid everyone about no "ship." )

On a serious note, I've just been assuming that Sam will be a full "bird colonel" in SGA. It's only right.

Regarding Hammond being lessened over time. I think some of that was due to DSD's health problems. I think it says a lot about DSD that Hammond became so beloved by fans. In that S9 episode

where they're fighting the Ori plague & Hammond is giving the speech? It was originally supposed to be Gen'l Jumper (real AF Chief of Staff). I think the tension of the moment was much higher with Hammond. I also think when he showed up at the SGC and talked to Sam & Daniel, their reactions (especially Sam's) were exactly what the fans (or this fan anyway) were feeling. Yay Hammond!

A lot can change, also Mandy. I would think the second movie will probably go through at least one more rewrite/major revision before pp starts. The crux of the premise may not change, but a lot of other details may.

Cause her inside is as beautiful, if not even more beautiful then her outside...and that shows... She has a way... She has a vibe(ok maybe wrong word) about her...a sort of glow that makes her great

I don't see it happening actually... I mean they killed RC in Reckoning...and to my knowledge she is really dead (ok this time I am not going to deny it ) I mean they killed her with that super weapen and there is no way she could have survived that...Although Oma could have helped her ascend...I don't think that is what has happened...If it did they would have already mentioned it before eh... So I really think that RC is death...And I cannot see any way to bring her back (that RC) to life...
I also can not see why there would be 2 RC's. I mean I don't think, as much as Fifth was in love with Sam, Fifth would have made 2 RC's. I mean I don't htink they had the recources for it. Like Fifth said in New Order they had just enough to make her...And I think Fifth already had his hands full of that RC...Cause it was his dreamgirl and IMO he wanted her as close to him...So iif he would have made a second one...It would have been hard...But if he had that, that RC also would have been destroyed by the weapon so...
There is also the matter of them being in different Galaxy's...I mean RC, fifth and so on where here...And they went never to the pegasus Galaxy...If IIRC...So why would there be any signs of them there?? I mean unless there is a link between the replicators in pegasus and here...Maybe then they could have made RC...But I don't think so honestly.
Cause the replicators here originated by Reese...who was probably made by the Ancient...although we can not be sure about that eh...I mean you can assume that but sure... No...But I still wonder if they were of the Ancient when did they do that? I mean was that before Atlantis or after they came back from it???
The replicators of Pegasus where created by the Ancient. So I don't think there is any link between them...
So the change that RC returns is small...
I would love it though...And it kind of would make sense... I mean Amanda is in 14 eps... So RC would make sense to bring back...Cause I don't see Sam in Atlantis a lot cause we have Rodney there and 2 brilliant scientist is IMO a waste...Of course Sam is much much much better but still...I think if you have them together there is one to many...
So since Sam will be going there by ship...or that is how interpret it...She may be only on the ship to protect Atlantis...and that is not much for 14 eps...So maybe there will be a twin of some kind and what a better way then RC eh
Ok those are all speculations but that is how I see it...I hope you understand anything I wrote down...sorry if not cause I tend to start rambling about RC eh

I have the feeling that it will be a hunt for the weapon and once they have found it, it will be just a simple push on the button and everything is fixed...I hope I am wrong but honestly I am afraid for it...Of course that way they will also kill the Ancient and I don't see that happening so there will be some strange thing that they can prevent that and earth is saved again...yay...
I am not really optimistic about it but I hope I am wrong with that one...I really hope it...Although I am not really in the Ori and all...Never really liked them and probably never will like them...Give me the Goa'ulds

Not sure about that one either but I think I will like it more then the first movie...Since it is again with Goa'uld...I don't think these spoilers really tell us much only that things has changed in a way they rather not had seen change...I think they will need to find a way out of it and in the end they will fix it...So this might be a lot of adventure..the only thing I hope with that is, that it is not foxused to much on Vala...
But I do seem good things in it...Cause it is an oppurtunity to have some old members back as in Janet, Hammond and maybe even Jacob...I do hope we can see them again...it would be nice...So I think I am positive about this one ...well more then the first one that is...

While SG-1 attends the execution of Ba'al, the last of the goa'uld system lords, Teal'c and Vala inexplicably disappear into thin air. Carter, Daniel and Mitchell race back to a world where history has been changed: the Stargate program has been erased from the timeline.

I had to pause at this... OMG... they're splitting Daniel and Vala up?

It gives me hope. And, actually, the plots of both sound pretty interesting to me (the first, less so, perhaps, although I'll be happy if they ditch the whole Arthurian themed plot).

I'm actually kind of excited about what's happening in the future, including the changes to Atlantis. I've always thought that Sam might be a good fit as a ship commander in Atlantis. And if they're doing something interesting with Weir to account for her absence in some episodes, it could be good. I've liked Weir less and less of late; writers' fault, not Torri's; but they've had her make some morally ambiguous decisions that have sort of soured me on the character a bit, and I'd like to see her redeemed with some juicy story. If they just drop her out without a good reason (or a stupid reason), I won't be so happy about it.
