Ha! Get in line! Add to that one of the more *fascinating* aspects of "American" speech, is the lack of thought behind word selection. I often feel lost in a haze when responding to the words spoken which turn out to have little resemblance to what the person intended to say. Am currently reading, "Quiet: The Power of the Introvert in a World That Won't Stop Talking" by Susan Cain. Don't have to be an introvert to appreciate, but I'm finding much understanding about extraverts along the way!
Nothing to do with Saving Hope, but meaningful segue to me! :0)
