and your right the Ancients are not really extinct in terms of technology, however they may not be extinct after all. In "The Return" we saw real Ancients make a short lived comeback. Who is to say there might not be more doing the same? Trying to reach Atlantis somehow and using the stasis chambers to stay alive for as long as possible.

About the ancients, there are two types. Milky Way ancients(originals spread through all galaxies except Pegasus) and Pegasus ancients that went there after the plague. MW ancients were physically more advanced and I don't think they aged, so, if there are some MW ancients out there in another galaxy they wouldn't need stasis chambers...but Pegasus ancients would.

Also, I think the head sucker was made to turn an advanced human into an ancient, so we might see a real one if TPTB want to go that way.

As for the Asgard, who knows if they stuck their consciousnesses on a computer database somewhere. They have a habit of doing that you know.

Good theory.. probably not a chance though. Thinking like a Nox, they'd probably buried their own gate after that episode with the Tollan and remain cloaked in that city on that planet. Gotta keep atleast on advance race alive!!

Ah good point! - Their consciousnesses could've been put in a computer and become apart of the system like Thor did in Anubis' ship or somthing! (could live again!!)

This has to be the most ridiculous theory ever, there's not one drop of evidence for this at all. You've looked too hard and found something that is not there.

you can't even call this a theory, there isn't any evidence to support this. all this is, is just a hypothesis, and a poorly based one at that. a theory needs sufficent evidence. the nox said the buried their gate.

The evidence is the planet is rich in Naquedah (which is the reason why it exploded), and the Nox need Naquedah. Since they are pacifists, they aren't going to try to steal the Naquedah from the Goa'uld or anything.

The Nox had no reason to leave their planet just because the Humans knew that they were there. They had buried their gate and could probably do so any time the fancy struck them. Their cities (if there were more than one) are cloaked and no one besides the humans knew that they existed.

Naquedah for their ships and hyperdrives and technologies and whatever else the Nox use Naquedah for. There probably hasn't been a starship built that doesn't use Naquedah. The 303 and 304 both use Naquedah, so does the O'Neill class ships the Asgard use(d). And the goa'uld and Ancients both needed Naquedah. Everyone needs Naquedah. Its like the oil of the future, and the Nox need that oil for their buildings.

Who's to say for sure if the Nox helped the Tollans or not? The Nox have shown a desire to preserve all life (even bad guys) through covert means. They may be interfereing all the time, we just dont realise. Even the gouald with all their technology, never ever knew of the existence of the Nox, despite visiting their planet on many occasions. it is quite likely that the Nox are still out there, and choose not to be found.

we don't even know if the Nox are from this galaxy, or if the planet we visited was their home world. we know very little about them, or their technology. who's to say they use naquadah for their ships and not some alternative powersource we don't know about? you are making far to many assumptions.
