YOu dont have to download anything. If you get into sketchup and click on the icon that looks like an open box with an arrow going into it. Then another screen pops up with information that you need to type in about the model. when you done click. upload. But you do need to get a google account so you can have a stop to upload to.

Oh and one more question, can you download ship guns someone else made and use them on your model, i just dont want to plagerise

Yes you can, all the models are free for use

It varies depending upon what I know about the modeler, for the Typhon and the Larazus they are in Sketchup when the Thrones and the Ancient Control Chair are in lightwaves modeler.
All the gun turrets above are in sketchup.

This is an early attempt at modeling the Diomedes. Sketchup is easy and fun, who knew? Now, if I could shrink the railguns and pop everything up...then, all would be kosher
