Connolly somehow knew she'd likely regret letting a wraith get in a 302. Still, he could fly and that was good enough. "Ok folks, smoke 'em if you got 'em, let's get geared up and ready to go."

Sarah gave last minute instructions to the Victory's assembled pilots, standing in the hangar bay, she was recieving intel via her comslink on the Ori, she could not help notice Todd, for a Wraith, he looked rather good in the issued flight suit, she cast a small smile at him and to her surprise he returned the smile.

Sheppard and Sam Carter agreed, then John looked at his Wraith friend. "What do you say Todd, your Dart would be useless here, think you could handle a 302?" Todd just grinned and showed a sharp set of teeth

Well, after all, we are all very impressed with the way Todd handles his enormous cruiser and he has demonstrated his exceptional piloting skills on numerous occasions

Todd growls good naturedly. "Oh,there are not many who do not respond to my... what did you call it? 'magic mental voodoo'." He gives Sheppard a wry grin and adds, "Wouldn't you say so, Johnnn Shepparrrddd?"

Shaking his head Sheppard just looks scathingly at Todd, "I'm not going there" before turning his gaze on McKay, "He doesn't need any encouragement you know".

"Oh, I don't know, Shep," Mckay laughs, "I kind of like the laid-back version of Todd, don't you?"
Todd turns to Mckay and says, "Do you?" with a wry grin.
"Em... well... you know what I mean..." Mckay stammers and rushes off.
Sheppard laughs and tells Todd, "You really shouldn't tease the humans."
"Ah, but it is such fun," Todd replies.

The PA announces the arrival of the four supporting Wraith cruisers, and that the Daedalus, has made time and will arrive in sector about the same time as the Ori ships, Todd recomends he and Sheppard fly to one of the cruisers and coordinate a fighter strike from there, John agrees, all the pilots mount their 302's and Todd gives a little wave to Sarah as the canopy is lowered

Jennifer had gone down to farewell the pilots and she noticed the wave Todd gave Sarah and became a little jealous, so she decides to take it all in hand, "He's mine you know, so don't try and steal him!" Looking straight at Sarah meaning all business!

Sheppard watches the two women, smiling in anticipation of the trouble that Todd is unwittingly getting himself into and decides to help things along a little, "I think Sarah'll be interested in a demonstration of your piloting skills."

The appeal to Todd's ego is irresistable and, preening just a little, he sidles over to Sarah, gives her a little bow and kisses her hand. "Would you like me to show you what I can do?" he smiles at her.

"Ahem, not just now, we have incoming in 5, launch all fighters, John you and Todd, double time over to his cruisers and tell them we need a defensive screen to our port quarter, Sam you lead your squadron on the initial attack." Sarah ordered the battle group away, and watched with the other's as the figters launched.

Sarah does, however, indulge herself as she watches Todd stride off with the others... his proud swagger, his long and confident stride, that white waterfall of hair cascading half way down his back - I wonder if it feels soft, she wonders? Once all this military nonsence is over, she promises herself, Jennifer might have a fight on her hands!

Flying almost wingtip to wingtip, John and Todd fly to the nearest Wraith cruiser, Todd hails them, and a myriad of darts and light attack craft fly out of all four ships to meet them, to John's surprise he is hailed by voice coms from the Wraith squadron leader. "Commander, John Sheppard, a good day to fight yes, a good day for this new enemy to die." His voice rumbled in Johns headset.

Meanwhile, McKay, Hailey, Ralph and Dr. Lee were working on another problem. "The Ori have superior shields, but with the Victory and the Daedalus's upgrades we have better weapons now, but that'll do us squat if our fighters can't make a difference with theirs, any ideas?" Rodney asked them.
