HUH?! I just read the time of DEM posting the tally of day 10 at 1.08 & Ukky's vote of day 11 at 1.46, then DEM edit the tally at 2.08 with OMA eliminated.

Why did you do that ? somebody might 'heal' OMA during the day and she might get saved another day. OY! head hurt! *headdesk*

L-JADE, this is how Heal/Hurt is played. A character goes out as soon as a vote counter notices that the character has dropped to 0 or below.

We are continuing a game that was already started under a certain set of rules, and I didn't think it fair to changes those rules too much.

Technically, this game requires constant updating of the vote tally. However, that's impossible with this set-up. So the compromise is that a counter has to catch it. Because we are updating 4 times per day, we will have at least 4 chances to catch eliminations.

If I were to start this game anew, characters would only be eliminated at the regularly-scheduled, periodic updates.

If anyone has any concerns, please let me know (probably PM would be best so as not to clutter too much).

BTW, I prefer not to edit earlier vote tallies because I like there to be a historical record of the counts, so always look for the latest update.

Personally, I think you should only eliminate characters at the scheduled count-ups. Otherwise, there's a sort of random element that might allow some characters to barely escape death while others are eliminated without a chance of recovery. Also, this would allow for vote editing without too much trouble. I realize it isn't set up to be like that, but the nature of the count-up makes it that way.
