i meant like so9's chart it would be pretty cool to gauge how advance lets say the asgard are compared to the aschen.

The Asgard are so far ahead of the Aschen it's not even funny, Asgard can go between galaxies the Aschen can barely travel between planets.

the Aschen ship attacking the Columnar was like a bobcat trying to attack a T-rex without teeth, may take longer but the T-rex will win with tiny scratches. but I whole heartily with the chart idea.

yea jaffa and human levels in technology and exploration seem disputable (jaffa more than human) ...if one would take away their tech and its blueprints they wouldn't be able to recreate most of the stuff ...ok humans would, but it would take them whole lot of time... jaffa dont even have scientists, their level of tech is below steam... manual.

...i know that jaffa are spread out through out the galaxy, but i don't see there being 100 billion of them...

No, not ascension. It just states that the Alterra aren't tops. There are probably other power sources that they haven't discovered yet. Ascended beings don't use technology anyway, so including the 'ascended' doesn't really work. They're in another dimension anyway.

As for the Jaffa...that's a mix of their total population across the galaxy and the technology that Bra'tac has brought to them. Note, it's better than everything else, but not quite up to the Alterran level...on purpose.

And yes, the Tauri stats are a bit of a cheat because they didn't earn the advancement. They got to intergalactic travel without really colonizing space in the first place, but how they get it doesn't really matter so long as they have it, I suppose.

BTW...a ZPM isn't a power source, it's a stored power reserve. It doesn't create power, merely unloads previously stored power. That way there isn't a maximum output and it doesn't matter how they gathered the energy in the first place. That's why it's not listed on the scale.

you shouldn't have put jaffa in a big umm 'bundle' (at least in tech section) because system lord jaffa's and jaffa nation jaffa's count as different just like tau'ri and other human populations.
