something like the energy that took over the SGC and carter? i can't remember the episode but it was were her mind got transferred into the computer made from the malps? I suppose they could mess up the Der'kals ships, render them inert so we can blow them up and the beings will still be alive (hopefully, i doubt they'd go for sacrificing themselves.)

But what were they hiding from? And why? And what did they do before they were hiding?

Well I did warn people that the first fourth of Season 15 would be a bit slow, but it's nice to know that as the action starts to really return, so does more interest I assure you, when the mid-seasoner "Interludes" comes out, the wait until the second half of the season will be killing you haha.
