Ah, to be a Dutch person - I'm sure that I was misplaced at birth and should have popped up in the Netherlands!

I think so.

Try thinking really hard about tulips, clogs, windmills and flat scenery^* and, if you're really lucky, you may just sprout there in your next life.

Until then you'll probably have to make do with admiring from afar.

I'm so tired - this heat is just exhausting and last night it was too hot to sleep I had to move the guinea-pigs to a shadier part of the garden this morning - poor things were being roasted alive where they were

So I'm off to bed at the ridiculously early hour of 9pm in the hope of getting a few hours' kip. Very glad it's Friday tomorrow!
