Large Roasted Field Mushrooms topped with Cheese and Red Onion Marmalade


Coarse Chicken Liver and Mushroom Pâté served with
a Cranberry and Red Onion Compote and Bread


Mains


Roast Turkey, Apricot and Sage Stuffing, Pigs in Blankets, Spiced Orange Cranberry Sauce,
Roast Potatoes Vegetables and Pan Gravy



Pork Wellington: Fillet of Pork Wrapped in Parma Ham, Mushrooms and Filo Pastry,
served with a Cream Marsala Sauce

Desserts


Traditional Christmas Pudding
served with Brandy Butter


Homemade Spiced Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce


Ben ate all of his, despite Cags' kind offer to help him out if he couldn't manage it


Strawberry and Pistachio Cheesecake
(Which tasted absolutely exquisite, like nothing I've ever had before )

Coffee/Tea served with Mini Mince Pies
(Which I omitted to take pictures of sorry )

Oh, and note the Yorkshire Puds, which were not on the menu but were kindly added by Stuart because I had the cheek to ask for them

Lovely dinner (and terrific hat!!!) I would have passed on the chicken liver and mushroom pate, but the rest looks delectable.

Yes... that evil child of mine deliberately stuffed his gob with the very last crumb to prevent mummy having as much as a morsel.


I'm teaching him well.

And then we popped in at my mum's and he scoffed a huge handful of pringles and a packet of cheese and oinion crisps. Where, exactly he put it I don't know.

Me too! Especially since I won't be going to the one on Thursday before! I land at 4:50 pm. Apparently, not enough time to check into the hotel and get over to the restaurant in time.

Ah that's a shame the flight you booked will land too late to come.
Although to be fair, in true Woohoo fashion, we haven't even decided if there will be a pre-AT Andersons dinner this year. Heaven forbid we do it often enough that it becomes... tradition!
