I see you have all been in the broccoli while I've been out and about...I hope you have saved some for the rest of us

Great news...hubby started his new job today! He got the job at the hospital that I mentioned. Excellent benefits that are going to cost us half of what we were paying before...its closer to home, so less drive time...good hours (8-5 to start but he can flex them once he's through with orientation and training)...and his salary is more than what the two of us made combined when he was still working for his former employer! He's very excited and I love seeing him so happy!

Excellent news Scully. Glad to hear this.

As for me - another hand surgery on Monday. This time the left hand and only one finger. They are going into the index finger and scrape the bone. Arthritis strikes again! But at least no spare parts being put in and no lessening of capabilities once it heals. Also insisted they do it with a local shot rather then knocking me out.... that just causes havoc with me (or my body) for the next few days. So I can drive myself there and home - only about 12 minutes from the house.
