Apparently, he was reading her speech and she kept texting him while he was on stage to ask if she'd won
Thanks for that Claire
My first reaction on seeing that first thing this morning was 'Yay! Suit pic!'Followed closely by 'Yay! Open necked shirt.... ' Then followed by 'YAY! Go Di!'
Excuse my absence the last few days - I have not re-entered the giant abyss of non-posting, I've just been a wee preoccupied. My parents' house got driven through in one end, out the other. They're all ok though they just have about $40 000 of repairs to their house. Thank golly for insurance!
Amanda and I were in the lobby at the Ren, just chatting, and she asked me if I wood walk down the road with her to get some chips (as in fries, not crisps), so off we went. As we headed for the fish n chip shop we were joined by Josi and Sarai, then Wendy appeared, followed by Dee, Laurie, Sil and EH-T..... by the time we got there we'd been joined by just about every WooHoo (including Bekki), and totally crowded out the chip shop. There was nobody behind the counter, but we could hear somebody out the back singing "Don't stop Believing....", and I turned to Amanda and said "That sounds like Martin!" She grinned at me and said loudly "You can come out now!", and there he was, grinning all over his face and asking us if we wanted salt and vinegar!

Ooohmygoodness! Thank heavens it's just things damaged not people. Still, not good at all. I hope they can get repairs done ASAP. Bit of a drastic way to get your home improvements paid for!
This was the temperature of the water in my pool at 9am this morning:
