Indeed she did, and LOVED it

We've decided to ignore the underground and go from Waterloo to St Pancras by taxi - that way Nad will get to see a little bit of London and I won't have to stress about which lines we're supposed to be on

The wind has started this morning here. We're supposed to get the rain later today. We'll see what happens.

We are in the eye of the storm right now. The calm before the rest hits us. I'm a little concerned by the number of ppl on fb who think it's over. *sigh* we still have power in our neighborhood, for now, but no cable or internet since 3am (according to Andi-- I was asleep at 3am!) Cell phone data still working tho. Andi and I are hunkered down watching "Inglorious Basterds." Hoping very hard that we don't lose power in the second wave. *hugs*

Phew! We managed to get Nad to her train on time........

..... and I didn't cry as she waved goodbye.......

.... but I will admit to sniffling a little on the train-ride home

And yes, I did manage to get home, on the right train and everything!
