I found a tut over on the resources thread about how to make a brush in gimp...and I made one!

I took this pic

And I made it into this brush

Which I tried the brush in different colors and I really like how it turned out

I love flower brushes but I can never find one that I really really like, and since I have a bunch of fake flowers around my house I took lots of pictures of them and I'm going to try to make those into brushes as well

Who knows I may even upload them onto devianart

Very nice work.

You can clear up the words on the sig a bit, but it's a great idea.

It feels awesome making brushes!

I would have asked...but I figured they would be super super hard...who knew that all you had to do was erase what you didn't want in the pic and then save it as a brush file

I'm so glad that I have a 7.1 megapixel camera, it takes some great pictures!

My mother has this obsession with having those fake flowers all over the place...so now I have to go and find some more pictures to take to turn into brushes
