Egle, yes, Gimp is free You shouldn't have too many problems getting used to it. The menus are set up slightly differently, but just shout if you can't find anything! There are plenty of us around here who use or have used it

I believe I'll give it a try next time I'm using my laptop and feel the need to create something. So, be prepared if one day I come running in completely desperate and frustrated.

Thank you. I made the necklace and mom did all the sewing. The skirt is a leather/shamy skirt we bought to make a Teyla costume, but we never got around to making it. It made the perfect Jedi skirt.
