At this point, I don't see any problems. It's possible that JannaGalaxy, her mom and Rachel will be in the restaurant, but not in our group of 30. We'll see for sure. And I doubt they'll take a head count so we might be able to squeeze in an extra person or two, but we'll see about that, too. I don't want to go over 30 since that's what the restaurant specified, and I don't want to overwhelm Krisz with details for them either.

If Horizons does require a deposit for our group, I'll have to have SOLID, CONFIRMED yeses from those who want to eat from the group menu before we book it. Krisz, I'll use my card if that's the case. But I'm not getting nailed with charges for 30 people when only 20 show up. I'm sure you guy understand.

I've booked Horizons for a group of 35 at 11.30am April 2nd. So we have room to spare for extras.

They didn't need a deposit and are pretty flexible about numbers so it won't be a problem if there are more or less. They have my phone number and will call nearer the time to confirm final numbers. Once we have all the menu choices I only have to give them a call and give them those.

Good news in that we can pay our bills separately instead of as one large bill so we don't have to go through all the nightmare of someone paying on a credit card and then trying to work out who paid that person what and ending up with tons of cash on them!! Much easier all round I think!

But reading Krisz' post, seems Horizon is very flexible (unlike FUEL ) I think I love the place already, this is so much added point for them.

That's what happened the first time to chlex and I. I was completely convinced we were going out the right door only to find ourselves on a street I never recognized. But I do have to say that going around the mall from the outside is much easier than from the inside. Maps people are your friends!!!

And, for all you poor deprived non-Canadians, West Ed is West Edmonton Mall - the largest mall in the world. I'm underwhelmed with it, but I can shop there anytime. Go me.
