You can learn some hints/tips from the wallpaper thread , although your going to have to search through the many praising and the many posts of sharing their wallpapers, but hey, tutorials online could help you out , its the photo-editing software that you have to have, haha...

You should get Photoshop Elemenets. Its a waterdowned version of Photoshop 7, and it has the basics. Also, I think its free.

i think a matrix/ stargate sig would be so sweet. SNY made a wallpaper on her site of the matrix gate and it look awsome. anything with stargate matrix/ neo incorperated would be cool.
