What about the weekends immediately before and after other scheduled events? Seems unlikely AT4 would be right before or after the April event in Vancouver. First, it would be tough for Amanda. Second, it might eliminate a good segment of fans who couldn't afford (monetarily or timewise) two events so close together in locations so far away.
If some or all of the G4 are involved in Gatecon then any time close to that would be out. Does Gatecon 2009 have a date?
Hmmm ...... at this rate we may narrow it down quite a bit or discover there is no time available in 2009 at all!

So, I did some digging around on the gabit forum.
Becky posted on april 23, 2007 that the date for AT3 (may 2, 2008) was announced on the main site.
Julia posted on december 22, 2005 that tickets for AT2 (november 17, 2006) would go on sale on december 27, 2005. So, when she posted this, apparantly the date was already known.
Nothing about the first event on the forum.
So, last 2 events they announced the date around a year in advance. So I think we can safely eliminate january till ... mmm ... june or something??

No dates for Gatecon yet. I'm also hesitant to block out weekends before and after. Actors have been known to whizz from one con to the next. Marina Sirtis, for example, pretty much did cons every weekend for 8/9 consecutive weekends last year and Denise Crosby has just done a couple across Europe this last few days (or so she said).
So I've compromised and anything "unlikely" has been blocked in grey.
ETA: I'm happy to block things out in grey until April. I think that's fair. I think May still has potential because it's a good few months away.
Edit: I've just blocked out one or two more weekends. I'm really convinced about my beginning of year theory (if not the end of year) and also, I don't think that 3rd Weekend in December because it's too close to Christmas and people are too busy with parties and family stuff.Last edited by Tracy Jane; 27 September 2008, 09:14 AM.Yepp, it's blank down here.Comment

July (end of the academic year) and September (beginning of the new year) are incredibly stressful times and it's near impossible to manage without the school's "Julia", even at the best of times, let alone at the beginning and end of the year. We've just lost our "Julia" for six weeks and it's hell, because we're still trying to sort out the beginning of term administrational hell and don't have our guardian angel to hlep us!

i would also block out at least jan - march - too soon, and also thanksgiving weekend (third weekend in november)
I know AT2 was the weekend before thanksgiving, but i think the only reaosn they had Avalon thanksgiving weekend was to get rick there and take advantage of amanda already being in the country.Comment

Just saw in the Sam thread that AT is at Collectormania in UK in June. I saw that on your list before but wasn't familiar with what it was. Wouldn't it make sense for AT4 to be the weekend before or after that since she's over there already?

Lol, it's really starting to look like a calender for Amanda's activities. Are there any birthdays they would want to consider? Amanda's on august 28? Olivia was born somewhere in march right? So, that's too soon anyway. No idea about her husband ... and if she would stay home for him hehe.
