It was like the producers said to the cast this season, act your hearts out. We've gotten something great from Jason Momoa, and now David Hewlett. Joe Flanigan has also been great also with really showing his emotions for this character.

Wow. His performance was amazing, I really liked the video progression spots they did, as a way of showing his deterioration. Brilliant. Kate's performance was excellent as well. This show was big.
A great episode to be sure, One of the best performances on sga or sg1. IMO, topped anything in SCIFI for quite some time.

Hewlett was fabulous! This episode really showed off his range and maturity as an actor. He's probably waited his whole life for a script like "The Shrine." The entire cast did an incredible job.

I....I'm speechless. Actually, I think I may have to post again later because, I'm just at a loss for words. This hit so close to home for me. (My father and brother both have Huntington's disease, a degenerative disease that affects the nervous system.) It was painful for me to watch Rodney...it was so real, so visceral. And when his sister cried, I was absolutely bawling. Oh lord, I'm going to start again. Ok, time to stop blubbering and go to bed.

Just...wonderful job, everyone - cast, crew, writers. But David and Kate, bravo.
