My brand new laptop has a faulty component. I embarrassed myself in front of 100 people because I could not do my PowerPoint presentation. The VGA output seems to have issues. I waited 3 weeks for it to be delivered and now I need to wait another 3 weeks to send it and get it back...fixed .

How about this....

They have another episode about an alternate dimension, in which a main SGA character gets stuck for more than a few episodes and there are alternate team members. This way, there can be a "new" team. If it doesn't get enough rating, then have the character go back.
