Actually I was talking to PG15. He said while he is getting fed up with people it was more to do with his university work load. That why a lot of time I leave threads where people want to do nothing but attack. Their are a few posters that come to mind. Anyway if you do leave I'll miss you but I find the jerks of the forum have the loudest voice and smallest number

Yeah, I know about him and the university work. I should technically be on a lot less due to mine, but writing papers and the occasional lab report is probably less time consuming then his mathematical stuff. Yuck!

Thing is, I guess I just don't have your ability to turn and walk away. When someone replies to a post of mine, I feel compelled to post back. And if it's insulting, then I'm compelled^10.

Which has really only served to aggravate me, so maybe I should rethink that philosophy. :: shrug ::

Fandom is just dumb that way. And I'm including myself in that mess just in case someone is reading this and feels the need to get insulted.

I've said it before; fandom is loud, noisy, and full of itself. We work ourselves up about these fictional characters and fictional circumstances, utterly convincing ourselves that something of real import is happening, and we "discuss" and we defend and we form factions (read cliques) within fandom where we surround ourselves by like minded people and post en masse in an effort to prove that our thoughts are the prevailing thoughts in all of fandom. Then we have the sheer gall to claim that anything we think is the prevalent opinion shared by all who watch the show. As if we matter.

Rant over. It'll probably get deleted, but at least I got it out. Therapeutic and all that.

No that happened in the sheffield derby last week They had a player sent off but still ended with 11 men cos he sent off after he was subbed

I'm sure it will, I was in an incredibly bad mood at the beginning of this week (You know, maybe its not such a bad thing SGA has been cancelled n everything and everyone sucks ) but I snapped out of it and have been in a really good mood for a few days Everyone gets cynical at times, but at least you can recognise it

Ooo, midterms I'd offer to help but IIRC you do some sort of science and I depised science at school so dropped it as soon as possible! The only thing I ever liked was genetics and everyone else hated that *cough*Iz very glad my course doesn't have exams*cough*

Course you can surch Not got anymore Jewel icons at the mo, that was for an LJ icontest Lots of JT sigs though, 4 birthdays in three days on the JT thread! And another two in the next week *flails*

What a coinky-dink! I'm actually taking evolutionary genetics at the moment. It's so mathematically heavy I want to shoot myself, but it is fascinating. It's not that I hate any of my courses, per say, but the combination of history/religion papers, poli sci papers, and biology coursework and labwork, is sort of killing me at the moment. I have to keep reminding myself that I chose to do it, it wasn't inflicted upon me by Satan or something.

Your course sounds fab actually! I'd have loved to continue with genetics if I hadn't have had to do all the other science before specialising Maths is more my style, thats why I struggle with writing, I think of everything in terms of numbers! Psst, don't tell my mum, but I do wonder if I should have done Maths like she wanted be too instead of my current course, it would have given me an actual career

I've never understood why people skip lectures and stuff, it their choice to be there, nobody's forcing them to pay extortionate fees for an education!

Keep up the hard work It'll be worth it in the end and you'll have a job you enjoy going to
