Yeah, that's one of the things I like about Dr. Who and it's spin-offs. Ordinary people have amazing adventures and save the world. And they don't usually resort to the normal stereotypes. SGA seems to be taking the path of least resistence in creating it's characters (i.e. Keller's attractive, everyone will love her, who cares if she's whiney and written inconsistently).

I really wish someone would add real people to SGA, why is there just the middle classes. I know there are the odd few who aren't but where are the trailer trash Marine's, the flyers from broken homes, the divorced scientist's. (I know Sheppard is divorced but you wouldn't know it) Is there anyone on Atlantis that comes from the Deep South, I yearn for someone like Rizzo from M*A*S*H

.: I'm still revising the second part. Instead of changing the characters to fit the plot like TPTB does, I change the plot to fit the characters. Just a lesson I've learned (well, I knew it already but y'know) ...
