And this reminds me about how they calling each other, so, John, most of the time, calls him Rodney, sometimes McKay, but Rodney calls him Sheppard, almost every time, except a few tender 'Jooohn' moments. Interesting, isn't it?

it's funny hear rodney's intonation when he says "sheppard" or "john" and colonel when he piss of. And i love the "Rodney fix it" it's so cute, the faith and the order, style " i say who can, you do " reminds me the daedalus variation, a great moment.

If you watch these episodes with keeping it in your mind and in your heart they are in love...then you won't need us to explain why we love them and believe they are in love.

I can see a re-watch is in order, fumbles. But, understand, this is my problem. I have already seen all these eppies. And I just don't see "romantic love". I see friendship, and brotherly love. I will try to re-watch, however, with new eyes.

Convince you about this? ... hmm... Fumble has a great point about which episode you should watch. Great list, I'd give Trinity as well to the list, that was my 'convincing episode' As you know, I was'n a big shipper before GW, then I discovered the beauty of the Sunshine shlash - Cam and Dan .
When I watched Atlatnis, for the first time, I didn't notice the actual love between these 2 bad boys , but that doesn't mean anything, cause it's a sci-fi show, so I was watching the actual story, all the time, the visual effects, performances etc. Of course I saw the respect, the deep friendship between them, but nothing more. Cause I didn't care too much about it. Then, with the rewatches.... yay yay. Cause you know, when you watch an episode for the second, third time, you can notice so many things what you didn't for the first time. And I did. In Trinity, very much so. And I didn't want it - I mean I didn't watch it with 'Oh yes, they are in love, people said to me, so, yes they are' - and some people wanted to convince me that if I don't find attractive one of the pairing (like I don't find Rodney that hot), then, the ship won't work. I don't know why, but I don't think I will get this, ever. So, the personality, the character is nothing, but they both HOT, so, yes, they doing it?
So, watching Trinity, and suddenly I saw much more than the respect and the friendship. I had a Jack/Daniel moment there, which is a big time for me! They are the ultimate SG slash, and when I started to compare John/Rod to them, well, that's something! And then I couldn't stop myself, I started to see the love in so many episodes, scenes, between them. So cute, so realistic. I just love it.

If you want watch the slash episode look the episodes selected by fumblesmcstupid and the shrine, the scene of the pier and the smile of john in the puddlejumper break my heart again and again, it's a mix of love "friendslashship" and it's so sad, he's so desperate to lose rodney.

You have "the last man" he loses 25 years of his life to save john, a simply friend do not a thing like that (it's for john not keller grrrrr stupid mckeller LOL).

i like to think that is more of a slip of the tongue thing? when they were alone he asked if he could try it out if it would seem ok and he called him John , so nobody on the expedition said anything so now he calls him John in public so cute

I love that scene - I hope I qutoed the right pic - when they talking about how many possible versions could have, and John saying the number, right in a moment, cause as he would say : I have my moments , and Rodney like: "Ha??? This sodier guy??? This military air force guy??? Hmmm....it seems he's more than just the usual AFH" (Air Force Hottie) LOL
