Ahh, don't worry, the Twinkies probably aren't gone for good.

The Bakers union is back in talks, and even if that fails, someone else will probably buy the brand. There's also been talk of other companies that are interested in the company.

On the bright side, my bil has an interview with another company tomorrow

Oh, and I read somewhere, that it was just the US company that went out of business; apparently they are still making them in Canada. But who knows if it's true or not.

they were impressed that he had stayed with the company for 13 years. The new company would have shorter hours. Before this, he had worked 60 hours a week, and even on his days off he had to "pull bread" (go to his stores and face the shelves)

So I've been working on NaNo for a couple of hours now and come back to the flyboy thread to find out that you've been talking about...not flyboys but Twinkies!!!

As someone who hasn't had a Twinkie in years due to a gluten-intolerance, I must say that I won't miss them as much as most.

FYI for anyone you know affected by the Great Twinkie Debacle of 2012 (surely this is a sign of the apocalypse-did the Mayans predict this?)...
