Problem is it is on his computer, not mine. I try not to use his -- or should I say use his desk. It's cluttered and the chair is so low making the keyboard so high... just plain uncomfortable.

Question - can you move favorites over from IE to Chrome... I wasnt able to do that with FF.

Or...put Chrome on yours then and still leave him to IE I suppose...his choice what he does on his own computer. That's what I told my best friend, not my fault if IE messes up her laptop because she won't switch Finally trained her into FF last year after she lost her laptop to a nasty virus...it was also a lesson that she shouldn't ignore the alerts telling her that McAfee was out of date. *face palm*

If you open Chrome sometime and click the button next to the address bar at the top right, 3 straight lines stacked on top of one another, then it would be under settings, you would scroll down to find "import bookmarks and settings" and you should be able to select IE somehow and it'll move all your bookmarks/favorites to Chrome

Yes! I did, and it was only last month, so I may even remember how I did it...was easy as I recall.. How did I do that Aang?

Well you didn't have the pleasure of having your favorites saved into your browser still when we did that, you had to re-favorite all the pages by hand because you had the folder full of bookmark links but not the browser with all of them saved into it. For Sci to just switch between browsers, it's even easier than what you did

I am going to have to try it. Maybe tomorrow I will try loading Chrome on to this 'puter. Then give it a look-see. As long as I can transfer my 80+ Favorites!

You are a bit better than most people I do tech work for though, you do try to understand it sometimes before you get narked at the laptop for not doing what it should. And you let me help when I say I can. Probably the best part really is that last bit. It's like pulling teeth to get some of my RL friends to listen to me because they'd rather pay a tech $200 to tell them what I've already told them for free. *face palm*

You should be able to, I just checked and my Chrome would let me import from any other browser on the laptop

I just downloaded it - and checked it out. So far I dont see it working for me. I have several sites on my Favorites Bar that I use ALL the time and dont see this option on Chrome. I will further investigate as I have more time.

I actually figured that out, but it wont stay for each page I have to go adjust it again.

Ok-same settings page you used to import your favorites.
Scroll Alllll the way down and click on 'advanced settings' (small blue link on the bottom right)
And then scroll a bit further and under Web Content, you should be able to set the font size larger
