I liked TMC as well, and I'm looking forward to watching it again on Tuesday night on SkyOne!

Yeah, I never thought of Rachel as 'a person of colour' either. I didn't know that she had a wig, WP! really? That just never really came to mind for me either...
Has anyone seen Toutched By An Angel? Well, I totally didn't catch on that Rachel was in an episode in season 9 until a few months back! She just looked so much different i guess... plus, she wasn't wearing one of those fancy Athosian belly tops! LOL

Yep! I couldn't believe it either when I found out. They do a fantastic job of it. Thanks for the link, she does look really different!

Rachel is actually a mix. Sorry if I"m saying that incorrectly. Her father is white caucassian from New Orleans and her mother is from Tanzania. Ironically, Rachel has never described herself as "black" she's always mentioned that she's from Tanzania cause that is where she was born. However, she's always stated that she's also an American citizen cause her father did all their paperwork and they were born American citizens. But, she's also Canadian.

Interesting, huh?

I think it's wonderful. Her sister has a site that posted caps of her mother and father, and they look so beautiful together.
