They claim that JF said he would have preferred a romantic relationship with a leading lady, preferably his boss, because it would have made the tension greater. Well they are all saying that he preferred J/E because of that. Now I know the only sexual tension there was was between John & Teyla, but it was still disturbing.

Exactly, and Teyla is alive and present. I completely agree with your last sentence. Even after Kanaan, John was still playing jealous. Even now, even though I wouldn't call it jealous, he still has that look of longing from time to time (oh yeah - when they are on screen together or when she is even in the ep). And there is still hope.

Agreed It's swings and roundabouts until something is made canon (which some Sparky's do delusionally say JE is ). Which considering that Weir is no longer in SGA and Teyla is in a relationship with someone else, doesn't look like that will happen any time soon. The attitute of Sparky's is one of the reasons why I don't go in there, with the expection of one or two of them who I find very reasonable people.
