Ok, I'm going to give MrsB's challenge a try and then I'll try Camy's sometime this weekend.

There is a lock down in Atlantis and John and Teyla are stuck in a room together, alone.

Teyla: Are you not going to talk to me this whole time?

John: What do you want me to say?!

Teyla: I do not know. Something.

John: Ok! You want to do this? Why did you leave with Ronon?! I would have gone with you!

Teyla: You would have lost your job!

John: So! Don't you know how much I care for you?

Teyla: I do not have to follow their rules! You do! And how would that help if they sent you back to your world?

John:Oh! So it's ok that you take Ronon, because he doesn't have to follow rules too!

Teyla: If I did not know better, I would say you were jealous!

John: Well maybe I AM!

All right, I got a response...no spell checking, just written on the fly. And thanks to Elf for the pic she posted earlier because it was so my inspiration for this ficlet.

TEYLA: I can not believe you think this is true.

SHEPPARD: [smirking] Of course it is. Even McKay's told me so.

TEYLA: I disagree. Perhaps it is because you are his friend he told you that. But, Colonel, believe me when I say that you are wrong.

SHEPPARD: Listen, don't get all defensive just because you aren't right. If it makes you feel any better, I'd say you come in a close second. [PAUSE] Well, maybe third. Ronan is serious competition.

TEYLA: Then perhaps it is best that we stop this discussion.

SHEPPARD: Not until you admit it.

TEYLA: I am afraid I can not, Colonel. My people find lying to be a dispicable act.

SHEPPARD: It's not lying when it's true.

TEYLA: Colonel, I do not thin--

SHEPPARD: Teyla, just stop. I'm right and you're wrong. Do you want me to get Elizabeth involved?

TEYLA: No! [PAUSE]

SHEPPARD: Then say it.

TEYLA: [mumbling]

SHEPPARD: [smiling] What was that? I couldn't hear you.

TEYLA: I said 'You have the best hair on Atlantis.' Happy?

SHEPPARD: [running his hand through his hair] You bet.

HAHAHAHA,that was funny,guess he loves his hair huh!

Ok Heres my entry for the "Heated Argument" and so maybe it went more than 20 sentences, oh well.

Teyla turned swiftly to look at John. “I can’t believe you’re just going to sit here and do nothing!” John’s face twisted in frustration. “Teyla, I’m an officer. I have to do what my superiors tell me, I don’t have a choice! If I don’t follow orders, they could make me leave Atlantis!”

Teyla glared. “My people are missing! They could be hurt or suffering or worse! If you will not aid me in discovering there whereabouts, I will have to find help elsewhere!” Her heart beat fast in her chest. She could not believe she was getting so mad at Colonel Sheppard this way.

John stood and his breath was quickening. “What does that mean, Teyla?”

Teyla looked into his eyes and could see the pain she was causing him but continued as she thought of her people crying out for her. “Ronon will help me.”

John started to say something and then stopped, his lips curling in anger.

“What were you going to say, Colonel?” Teyla huffed, her voice shaking.

“Nothing.”

“Please tell me!!”

He reached up and grabbed her arms tightly holding her in front of him. His face was so close to hers and they were both breathing heavily “You think I don’t want to help you? You think I don’t care??!! You don’t have any idea how I feel, Teyla!!!”

“Then tell me John, tell me how you feel!!”

The door opened. Ronon stuck his head in. “Am I interrupting something?”

The Secrets Challenge Part 10 - NOT FOR THE SQUEMISH - I MEAN IT

Spoiler:

Armed with only the few knives hidden in Ronon's hair, Colonel Sheppard and Ronon made their way silently around the large desolate building endlessly surrounded by filth and garbage. Ronon found a door slightly wedged open on the side and the two of them crept in silently.

John felt extremely uneasy being without firepower but he knew they couldn't wait. He knew Teyla didn't have much time.

The hallway was dark and lit by only two blinking, humming flourescent lights. Blood trails stained the floor and rotting piles buzzed with the sound of flies. John held his sleeve to his arm to prevent the putrid smell from making him gag.

They passed three rooms, treading slowly and quietly. The rooms were empty besides blood smeared gurneys and hooks and chains hanging from the ceilings, chinking softly together by a soft breeze.

When they came to an intersection of halls, John signaled for Ronon to take first position and when they turned smoothly, they saw the shadow of a man moving in the light. Ronon's eyes fired up and he looked at John for the sign. John took a deep breath, his blade held out steady before him and nodded. The two of them burst into the room and Ronon seized the man whos back had been facing them. Without so much as uttering a single word, Ronon slit his throat.

John secured the room and found a young woman, barely alive sitting very still in a dark corner.

"Hey, are you ok?" he asked her as he rushed over kneeling beside her. She was badly beaten and soiled. She flitted her eyes briefly and tried to speak, but only sobs came out of her mouth.

Ronon approached, wiping his blade on his pants and stared at her, his heart filling with anguish at the sight of her broken, frail shape. "You're safe now, miss. We're gonna get you outta here," John said as gently as he could.

She suddenly opened her eyes and grabbed John by his shirt, startling him. Her eyes filled with tears and she whispered quietly into his ear, "I...can hear...her screams..." And her grip lessened and she slunk back as her life slipped away.

It's really short and I didn't check for grammer or spelling.

John has Teyla blind folded and leads her to the rec. room. As he pulls off the blindfold she can see the room filled with lit candles. There was also a blanket on the floor with a basket of food and champagne. Teyla is amazed with all that John had done and he admits that he had a little help from some of the ladies in Atlantis.
Teyla and John enjoy the food that the cook provided and Teyla giggles as the bubbles from the champagne tickles her nose. Once done with food in the basket, John motions Teyla to wait. On a table was a tray that had whipped cream and fresh strawberries. John takes the tray and brings it to the blanket. He takes a strawberry, dips it into the whipped cream and starts to feed Teyla, but some cream stayed on the side of her mouth. John leans over and kisses it off. Teyla’s eyes grew as wide as her smile.
The next thing John did was put on some slow music and starts to teach her how to slow dance. As she nestles her head on his shoulder he inhales the fragrance from her hair. They dance for what seemed like hours. They finally call it a night and John escorts Teyla back to her quarters, but before she retires into her room John gives her a gentle kiss on her mouth and she returns the kiss. Teyla stops, smiles and tells John that this was the best first date ever.
