I'm very happy right now, I've finally seen "Treed Murray" today! Wow. It was really as good as I expected it to be. It's fascinating how interesting the story is, although there is only one setting and a handful of people. But I wasn't bored for a wee second. I loved to watch this whole thing escalate slowly, wondered what could possibly happen next and how this would end.

And I don't need to say again what a talented actor DH is, right? He's wonderful in that role. Really intense. So many emotions, fear, anger, aggressiveness, sadness, the latter especially strong
    Spoiler:
when his screwed up family life is mentioned. Btw, I think that the fact that Murray has an injury (maybe a fracture) on his left ring finger where he wears his (very lovely ) wedding ring is a nice way to symolise the troubled marriage and the fact that it may be beyond repair now.

I noticed that he smokes a lot in this movie. David doesn't smoke, or does he? I've never seen a pic of him smoking (thank God).

Oh, and David looked really good in this movie with his dark suit, lets just say I drooled a lot.

One funny thing: Right at the beginning, when the gang starts to corner Murray, I said out loud "Oh sh**!", and once second later I hear David/Murray say exactly the same thing in the movie!

    Bye, A.

I'm amazed by the way DH treats his fans. I can count kind, generous and attentive actors like him on only one hand.

DH was amazing at ComicCon. After the panel, the SGA cast came down to the edge of the stage and greeted guests for a bit. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to meet DH (although I did shake hands with PM and JF!) but from what I saw of his interactions with the guests, he was just plain awesome! Incredibly friendly, and seemed just happy to talk to people.

            Hey all,

I can't believe this thread has hardly moved since I've been away! Where's everyone?

Actually I've been out the whole day myself cause it's so warm and sunny today. I'm currently at a friend's place and thought I'd log on to check out what's up.

Been watching some BTS clips and I have to say David is so amusing and funny in all of them. Plus he never stops talking!!! I'm surrprise that nobody has posted any caps yet. I will try to do some tonight or tomorrow, when I get home.

In the meantime, I've revamped my Runner caps coz I have a HDTV file (though small in resolution).

            Here is an old favourite:

It's a Suunto, we talked about that some time ago, and I was very surprised to see him wearing it at the con. Seems as if they are allowed to take things home from the set, or he has bought himself a watch like that.
I'm sure Suunto is happy to see David wearing their watch when he's off set. They probably gave everyone a watch for free.

Nothing like some good arm porn! *thunk*
Oh yes, that's really a funny expression!

One thing I wanted to add to my "Treed Murray" post yesterday: Don't know if this was already mentioned here, but the movie also has a website, which, like the "Cube" website, was designed by David's former company Darkyl New Media.
There are small biographies for the cast, and in David's you can read a small snippet about what he thinks about the movie.

Wow, all these great caps -- the thunkable DH/McKay just gets better and better! Love the SouthPark SGA from SGC and also SGAMickey from xfkirsten. Since I don't do caps (must take time to learn photoshop!!!), I can only say thank you all. Re Aurore's comment re kind, generous, and attentive actors like DH, I totally agree -- only other actor I can think of offhand who treats his fans this well is Victor Garber from Alias (who is also Canadian -- maybe it's a north-of-the-border thing). Like Strivaria, I think David would be an absolute blast to just chat with for a few hours (though dear husband probably would object!).

One more thing -- I really enjoy the international nature of this board -- I wonder how many countries are represented? I know we have posters from the UK, France, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and the U.S.; what countries am I missing?

Wow, thanks for ruining my day and canceling SGA, Sci-Fi. Not even McKay can make me feel better now

I love the internationality too. And I guess there are fans from many, many more countries on this board. At the moment I remember people from Canada (like Caylynn said), Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Brazil, and Spain, and I'm sure I'm forgetting many others right now.

I spend most of the movie cheering on the snakes... when I'm not going giggly fangirl over Dr. Emmett, DH's character.
I found it unwatchable. Which is to say I got more and more mortified as I fast-forwarded and fast-forwarded--Oh, hey! Good scene with the good guys!--and egad! fast-forwarded and fast-forwarded--Another good scene with the good guys. What is this, two different movies?--and oh brother! fast-forwarded and fast-forwarded...

It's just awful. Except for the scenes with the good guys.

You know you're in trouble when the computer-generated boa is more watchable than all but three of the cast.
