Just hearing J/E's voices gave me the shivers... Elizabeth as she spoke has such eloquence and emotion in them, and the same with John. I just felt the heebee jeebees... it's such a great vid, thanks for sharing.

There are a lot of ways to take his answer. He never answers anything directly, so it could mean anything. My first thought was that they don't intend to ship J/T in S4, so the question is irrelevant. Wishful thinking? Maybe. He could also be saying that they will ship them in such a way that you'll love it and won't need to ask why he chose to ship them. Either way we won't know until we watch.

wasn't at all bothered by the Sheyla. It could easily be seen as friendship. Ronon keeps trying to hook Shep up with anybody who's available evidently. lol First Teyla and then Keller. It was a bit bizarre. Especially he and Teyla using the term "hook up". I just see it as RC having written this before the baby arc was written. Which, if spoilers are true and it's a real baby with an Athosian, then we don't have to worry about Sheyla in S4.

Even if worse comes to worse and they pair John and Teyla, it will not ring true after everyone's reaction to Lifeline. It will seem very OOC and AUish. IMHO.

I honestly don't want to give my 100% yes vote to this show. The storyline is a rehash of a previous SG episode that halfway through the show I almost wanted to quit viewing it especially when they started talking a lot of techno babble on how to contain the alien thingy (Ronon has my utmost sympathy). I just didn't get into it right away, and the ending is so predictable (McKay to the Rescue! and oh yeah, Sam had an idea how to fix things). Plus, they killed Kate Heightmeyer (wuv her).
But because of my curiosity about the Sheyla Hug and a passing comment about Elizabeth, well, I did stick with it to the end. And I honestly agree with you SR. I don't see it anything other than a "seeking-comfort/solace-from-a-friend-hug". Actually, the vibe I get from that scene is more like a daddy giving his little girl comfort because his little girl's best friend just died. So, not bothered at all by it. And the scene where everyone is sitting down on the cafeteria table, I get a family vibe from that too.
Now... that comment from Sam about John thinking like Elizabeth because they were in the office... Well, well, well. Another Sparky shipper in Atlantis. Sam can feel it too, the so married-vibe between J/E They think alike now and at one point in Lifeline, looked alike (that was really disturbing btw, John morphin' into Liz)

And as LadyBozi pointed out earlier in the thread, I don't care what the anti-Sparky people say. They are so in love with one another, they don't even know it.

And Anuna, this passage about love from the Bible comes to mind.

John's face when he landed the city is priceless. I used that scene in my vid as much as I could! Makes you want to hug him. He looks like he is about to surrender in that moment, knowing what he'd lost. Poor thing. We gotta write him some fix - it fics, I hate to see him like that.

Oh yeah Anuna that moment---and I did fix that moment in my fanfic...well sorta.

And on that note, I believe that Sparky will endure.
