Hey, I'm not sure if people saw this in the Torri interview or not, but they had a little blurb right below one of the small pics (of Weir and Sheppard in the infirmary of Conversion), and it says this: "Elizabeth's relationship with John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) will no doubt continue to be an Atlantis mainstay."

Okay, I've been talking to an old friend for the couple of hours, and in the course of catching up on the past six years of our lives, we've rambled over onto the topic of what TV shows we like. (She's a big West Wing fan - and was very amused when I told her I came to the show through Mel's fic.) I mentioned what a huge fan I was of SGA and she told me that she has seen one episode. I mentioned that I shipped Weir and Sheppard, and she replied "Is that the woman with the short dark hair? And the dark haired military guy? Yeah, when I saw that ep I asked [her friend] how long those two had been involved. They are involved aren't they?"

Yeah, apparently it's noticeable to non sci-fi fans who only see one ep of the show. Shep/Weir just... is!

Was that coherent? I'm still on the phone with her, so I'm having some difficulty concentrating. But when she told me this I just had to share.
