Elizabeth Weir/John Sheppard Appreciation/Ship/Discussion Thread
Looks nifty! I might try making the woven effect a bit smaller though.

Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon.Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.
Oooh, now this looks GOOD! I think this one works better because it starts with a simpler shot, just RDA's in front of a black background. The first one had a much busier background, so the larger weave pattern makes the whole photo look a little too choppy. I think it's one of those things that'll have to be adjusted to suit each photo.

Hola! I'm alive, back from vacation, and have a mountain of laundry to do. And yet, somehow, I'm trying to figure out the best way to go catch another matinee of "The Lone Ranger".
Nola, I loved all the images you've posted! Beautiful job!
And welcome to any new members I missed while I was gone! Gotta admit, I'm glad I missed the "Trio" marathon. Back in the days when I shipped anything that moved, I heavily shipped McKeller, but also partly because I was so desperate to find a new couple to ship so I could continue living vicariously thorough them. In retrospect, the way that they flung it so in our faces was more painful than I realized. *extracts spork*

Welcome back! How was the trip?
Ah, post-vacation laundry. The pile never seems that big while you're on vacation, but when you get home and start sorting things into loads, it's like the stuff multiplies by a factor of 10.
Oh no, don't spork yourself! Just think about how we're doing it better on SGA Rising!

Vacation was awesome! Saw a number of dear friends I haven't seen in years and actually took the time to sightsee around my hometown. I never realized how much historical value it has. I'll post some pictures on LJ one of these days. Right after I start a new folder for Armie Hammer. *droolz* I just went and saw "The Lone Ranger" again. Dear God, that movie is gonna be the death of me. In a good way.
Anyhow. Back on track.
Laundry actually ain't too bad. (Oh lord, I was in NC for just a week and my accent's back. )
And the spork, more or less, was from the S4-5 directness of McKeller. But I agree: SGA Rising is doing an excellent job of keeping true to canon without making anybody of any particular ship hostile. At least, in my opinion. *nods*

And if anyone does have a problem with us actually staying true to canon, they haven't said anything to us. But we'd just ignore them if they did, anyway.

I just love that scene, the eye!sex really went on forever in it. And heck, if even McKay notice it (who seem to be obvious to everything else) it’s gotta be something right?
