On the topic of nicknames: I think it would be great to see John use Lizzie in a joking way at first, but eventually use it as a term of endearment. However this begs the question, if John calls Elizabeth Lizzie, what nickname will she have for John? Perhaps John Boy (lol probably a little too Waltons), or Shep?
