True, very true. I considered making a Shep plushie for my collection...actually I considered making the whole SGA cast at one point, maybe if I ever get a WHOLE lot of spare time: Elizabeth, Sheppard, McKay, Teyla, Ronon & maybe even Radek...Carson does need his friends, doesn't he? xD

I have to agree, he's an acquired taste, and I'm not a big fan of his appearances on SG-1 but I've grown used to his asinine attitude by now and he -is- one of Carson's closest friends on Atlantis by the time Sunday rolls around so I decided to give him a chance...

Haven't watched it since the first time. My best friend still wants to torture me and make me watch it again, but when I'm on my own, I avoid that episode like the plague because as good of an episode as it (mostly) was, I don't particularly want to watch Carson meet his doom...Makes me want to cry even remembering the last several scenes.

For me, watching it the first time was easy because I didn't believe it could be true. Watching it again is harder because I haven't accepted that Carson died...so it kinda' feels like a knife to the heart when I see that part. Like, how can he really be gone? What is Atlantis without Carson?! ...I never particularly warmed up to Jennifer Keller as Chief of Medicine on Atlantis...

John Barrowman's character would be good as a friend, but his tastes are a bit too varied for anything else!

I told my friend Jenn (who is a Trek fan & I am slowly bringing her to Atlantis) and was amazed to find Pauly was in the Star Trek movie xD) that I'm making a Spock plushie (she freaked out) but what she doesn't know is that I'm gonna' give the Spock plushie to her when it's done. I don't think I could make him and -not- give him to her xD Never know, I might end up giving away a Shep plushie...although if I did, I think people would fight over him...

...And I could never love another plushie, no matter the character, as much as I do my Cuddly Carson He's my cuddly little bugger

And yeah I think my not warming up to Keller probably was because she's not Carson. I mean he was scared of the control chair...OK I get it, I'd be terrified to sit in it too if I couldn't control it too well the first time. She was scared of a rope bridge...what in the heck? You're on an alien planet in the Pegasus Galaxy with a mob of angry men after you and you're freaked out by the BRIDGE? Good Grief. o.0
